Tattoo Prep
Get a good nights sleep.
Have a meal and drink plenty of water.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
Avoid caffeine—this can cause jitters and restlessness.
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen (these thin the blood).
Keep area covered & out of the sun.
Shower—keeping the skin clean will prevent any bacteria + dirt from impacting healing.
Keep area unshaven and try not to over moisturize the skin.
Avoid heavy workouts for a couple of days before your appointment.
Bring snacks and water.
Getting a tattoo on an empty stomach can lead to light headedness and fainting.
Tattoo Aftercare Do's​​​​​​​
Wash area twice per day with lukewarm water and clean hands.
Use a fragrance free gentle/mild daily cleanser like Cetaphil. Dial Antibacterial soap also works well.
Gently pat the area dry with a clean paper towel.
Keep skin moisturized 2-3 times per day. Use an unscented Lotion/Hustle butter. (a little goes a long way, use a very THIN layer)
Keep tattoo covered/out of the sun until it heals 3-4 weeks.
Stay hydrated.
Take it easy with your body. Rest.

DO NOT scrub/rub skin.
NO Scratching!
STAY AWAY from Pools, Hot tubs, Saunas
REFRAIN from excessive exercise/sweating
AVOID Tanning & Sun Exposure
